HERE IS WHAT CAN YOU EXPECT WHEN YOU COME TO MID VALLEY ASSEMBLY!

FRIENDLY PEOPLE - The Joy of the Lord is present at every meeting.  Philippians 4:4 “Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice!”

CLAPPING AND LIFTING OF OUR HANDS  – Psalms 47:1 “Clap your hands, all nations; shout to God with cries of joy.”  Psalm 63.4 "I will praise you as long as I live, and in your name I will lift up my hands."  1 Timothy 2:8 “I want men everywhere to lift up holy hands in prayer, without anger or disputing.”

PRAYER AND ANOINTING WITH OIL – James 5:14 “Is any one of you sick? He should call the elders of the church to pray over him and anoint him with oil in the name of the Lord.  And the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well; the Lord will raise him up. If he has sinned, he will be forgiven.”

SPEAKING IN TONGUES AND INTERPRETATIONS - This is an expression of the gifts of the Holy Spirit given for spiritual uplifting within the church congregation.  I Corinthians 12:8-14  At times there will be speaking in tongues for self edification. I Corinthians 14:4 says, “He who speaks in a tongue edifies himself, but he who prophesies edifies the church.”

LOTS OF EXUBERANT PRAISE & INTIMATE  WORSHIP – Colossians 3:16 “Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom, and as you sing psalms, hymns and spiritual songs with gratitude in your hearts to God.” Psalm 150:1 “Praise the LORD. Praise God in his sanctuary; praise him in his mighty heavens. 2 Praise him for his acts of power; praise him for his surpassing greatness. 3 Praise him with the sounding of the trumpet, praise him with the harp and lyre, 4 praise him with tambourine and dancing, praise him with the strings and flute, 5 praise him with the clash of cymbals, praise him with resounding cymbals. 6 Let everything that has breath praise the LORD. Praise the LORD.”

PREACHING OF GOD'S WORD; RELEVANT AND CHALLENGING - 2 Timothy  4:2 "Preach the Word; be prepared in season and out of season; correct, rebuke and encourage-- with great patience and careful instruction."  Hebrews 4:12 'For the word of God is living and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart."

GIVING TITHES AND OFFERINGS – Tithing is transcends the Law.  Malachi 3:10 “Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. Test me in this," says the LORD Almighty, "and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that you will not have room enough for it.”  2 Corinthians 9:6 "Remember this: Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously. 7 Each man should give what he has decided in his heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. 8 And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work. 9 As it is written: "He has scattered abroad his gifts to the poor; his righteousness endures forever."
