Missions is an integral part of our church.  We believe that every church starts out as a mission and as people begin to gather, it forms a congregation. Click on BGMC to find out what our boys and girls are doing.

We support four World Missionaries and two Home Missionaries.  They are listed in Alphabetical order:

  1. Mark and Kelly Baumgartner - Canary Islands

  2. Keith and Celeste Boudreaux - Chinese People in Houston

For 7 years, Renay West ministered in Thailand, as well as in the surrounding nations there.  Having had a background in Christian Broadcasting (radio), Renay has been involved in helping establish Media Ministry Departments for the national churches in the region:  Two media centers have been built as a result of her leadership, and many lives have already been touched by the tools being produced in these centers by national church workers--both Buddhists and Muslims have received the message of Christ as a direct result of these efforts!  In addition to her involvement with media ministries in the region, Renay was also involved in preaching, teaching, and serving as liaison for compassion ministry projects throughout Thailand.

Renay has just recently accepted a new assignment to Argentina, South America. Her vision and passion is mentoring young people, specifically, helping them identify their gifts and calling in the Lord, and encouraging their God-given dreams.  Her dream is to see a new generation of young Latin American missionaries raised up and sent out to the ends of the earth.  In Argentina, she will be ministering and teaching/training at Rio Platte Bible Institute in Buenos Aires.  There she will work hand-in-hand with the students in training and counseling, as well as traveling with evangelism teams from the school in outreach ministry.  She is believing to

one day see young people from Argentina being planted as missionaries back in Thailand and the 10/40 window.

Renay is a graduate of Southwestern Assemblies of God University in Waxahachie, Texas, and is from the South Texas District.   Website:  www.renaywest.com    Blog:
