Baby
Hayden is here! Thank you for praying. Here are the details: On August 28th, Sara Ann my daughter was admitted to the Mission Regional Medical Center in Mission, TX. She was 6 months pregnant then. The day before, she went in to see her doctor because she was leaking amniotic fluid. The doctor ordered total bed rest. So she was there for a month and did not did not set foot on the floor. The details according to Doctor Velasco are that her amniotic sac had broken and the baby was in breach position. Contractions started; the thinning and dilation of the cervix started; all because the body was ready to deliver the baby. However, it wasn’t time yet to deliver baby Hayden; he was only 6 months. Thanks to the prayers of God’s people from all over; family, friends and congregations around the country, we’ve seen the Hand of God. Thanks to God’s mercy, Baby Hayden turned back around to the right position, the dilation stopped and the cervix stopped thinning. Thank God for medicine; however, if it wasn’t for God’s creation of the blood stream – veins, arteries and capillaries, the medication would not get to the affected part of the body! Incredible creation - thank you Heavenly Father! ![]() Doctor Velasco made an observation: she said, “Sara Ann is the most resilient patient I’ve ever had. After 7 or 9 days on the same bed, my patients get grumpy and mean. They scream at my nurses and are right down belligerent. They are desperate to get out of the hospital and will let everyone know! Sara on the other hand has such a sweet spirit! She’s never in a bad mood and every time we come in to her room she is cheery!” Sara attributes her attitude to the Lordship of Jesus Christ in her life. Nurses would come and hang out with her in her room. They just loved her. Sara Ann says, “I’m here for a purpose – to minister to everyone who comes into my room.” She did an awesome job – she is an awesome witness. Praise the Lord for her. Well, on Saturday, the 26th of September we spent the whole afternoon and evening with her singing and just hanging out with her. That night Sara did not have a good night and sure enough on Sunday afternoon, Dr. Velasco came and said, "today is the day Sara!" After church, we were called to the hospital to receive Baby Hayden. He was born around 3:00PM. He is breathing on his own; no intubation or incubation needed just a little Oxygen and some antibiotics. Sara Ann, Hayden Amadeus and Matthew are doing great! Sara was released to go home on September 29th. After 33 days in the NICU, Baby Hayden was released on Friday, October 30th @ 5:30PM. He is strong and healthy; Praise the Lord and thanks again for all your prayers. |
